Lately I have been experiencing a strange noise when turning right (occurs on highway and in town, and sounds similar to the climate control system when the air conditioning is cycling on). Once the
steering wheel is re-aligned straight, the noise stops. It does not happen during a left hand turn. In addition, the noise will sometimes start and stop inexplicably during highway speeds. I have
checked all fluid levels, looked for worn hoses, etc. without luck. Thoughts?

My air conditioning doesn't make a noise when cycling on, so that
doesn't help. Is this a scrutching, scaping noise? Is it louder the
faster you're going? Front hub bearings going bad can allow the brake
rotors to rub the pads. Does the noise abate if you apply the brakes?

It's not a scraping noise, more of a hissing noise. The brakes do not make any noises.

The rack and pinion went out pretty promptly on my '03 Accord EX V6.
It made a noise when turning. However, IIRC it was the same turning
left and right and it was making noise because it was leaking PS
fluid. Since all your fluid levels are normal, it's probably
something different, but a bum steering rack is worth considering.
Maybe Honda had a manufacturing problem with this part.
