I finally installed the auto-dimming mirror in my 2003 Accord EX-L. THe auto dim feature workd quite well and the compass is reasonably accirate, more so than I expected.
My problem is that my moonroof will not operate now. I realize that the connector for the mirror on the passenger cabin also has the roof cable wiring for the moonroof controls. Before I open up the lower dash again, does anyone know why the mirror installation killed the moonroof? I assume (makes an ass out of U and Me) that not all the wires were installed in the jumper provided and that I will have to put in some wires.
Aside from that problem, the installation went exactly as the enclosed instructions detailed and there were no other surprises.
