Any idea why both rear lights on my 2001 Accord have failed?

  1. I have a 2001 Honda Accord LX with about 25,000 miles on it. I just
noticed that the rear lights no longer work - the front headlights are
fine however. Also not working is the small light that illuminates the
license plate. The reversing lights, indicator lights and brake
    lights all work fine.

I looked for a fuse - but didn't find one for the rear lights and it
looks like I may have to go the hassle of taking it back to the dealer
    :-(

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong - it would be much
    appreciated.

    thanks,

    Peter

I looked for a fuse - but didn't find one for the rear lights and it
Why hassle? It is under warranty, let them fix it.
There should be a fuse though. The question is why did it blow? You might
have a short somewhere. Another good reason to let the dealer worry about
    it.
