Another Battery Question

I waschecking into getting a new battery for my 2001 Civic EX. The battery guides states that the car would take a BCI 51, but all I've been able to find is BCI 51R. Does anyone know what the "R" means? Someone had posted a Battery Guide post on this ng that had a link which showed all the BCI's and measurements and in comparing the two batteries, they seems to be the same.

The "R" in "51R" means reversed, as the positive and negative terminals are reversed with respect to the regular "51". Typically the wires in the car are too short to be able to use 51R if 51 is what the car needs. If you are in the US, try getting your battery at Sears. I know they carry the "51", as they gave one to me by mistake when I needed a "51R"

The R idicates that the + and - connectors are in reverse order.
