Air bag srs light on

    What does it mean when the srs light comes on?
    The battery was changed a year ago.
    Car is 1997.

    Right now it means that your airbag system has put deactivated until you
    find out what is wrong with it by running the codes.

    My Honda was delivered with that problem which was a "ring" in the steering
    wheel.

    Clock Spring. Could also be something in the passenger seat (assuming side
    air bags are installed).
