I just bought a 2004 Accord, black in color. Should I get the CARECRAFT
preservation package? It includes the paint protection and the fabric
protection. Both for about $350.00. I am not good at waxing(I never wax)
so I was thinking YES but I would like some advice. Thanks!

no! find a local detail shop (if you are too lazy) to detail the car twice
per year. I've found spending an hour per week washing and waxing does not
hurt and pays off at trade in time.

  6. Rich,

I am on the other end of the spectrum-- I actually like to detail my
car. The Paint protection from the dealer is a huge waste of cash. A good
can of wax (about $20) would be much better for your paint. A can of
ScotchGuard is just as effective as the fabric protection. Just say NO.

Thanks for the advice. I am not going to take this option.
