Accord pricing

That deal they've had on tv (in the US, in Los Angeles, specifically)
for an Accord LX, can't read the fine print but I think it's an
automatic, for about $2k down and $200/month for 36 month lease -
appears now to be over?

Friend suddenly needs a new car, I recommended he look into this LX
deal, and it now looks like $2600 at lease and $239/month.

I suppose this is somewhat negotiable, but ... ouch!

I guess with the 2005's out, everything is back to list price for a
while. Bad timing on my friend's part.
