Hello All,
Is there a reasonable way to open up the AC evaporator housing in a 95
Accord. It seems that a mouse climbed in there and died a horrible death. My
first attempt made me think it's almost possible, but not quite. Google
produced many variants on handling the mold/musty smell problem, i.e. spray
Lysol into the fresh-air intake, but this situation seems to call for more
direct action. A shop-vac nozzle through the blower motor opening made some
progress but not enough. Is there something that would dissolve mouse guck
but not plastic or metal? Thanks for hints or tips.

Did that, unfastened bottom half from top, got about 1/2" separation then it
seemed to bind and wouldn't go further. I couldn't see what stopped it. Was
hoping it didn't require disassembling the dash - your comment seems like
good news.
