ABS & Brake warning Light fault

Hi,

My 1991 2.0 EXI 4WS Prelude has just started to show a strange fault, the
brake lamp warning light and parking light are lit all the time, and after
approx. 2 mins my ABS warning light comes on also.

I have one of the four rear brake lights out )inner drivers side) but it is
not the bulb as I have changed this.

Any advice??

Did you check the brake fluid level in the reservoir?
Is the park brake all the way off?

Hi,

Yes, Fluid level is at MAX, and the park brake is totally off the brake
warning lamps and ABS lamp only come on after the brake pedal has been
pressed.

The ABS lamp will light a couple of minutes after startup if the
system fails its self check. Do you hear the pump run just after
startup? It's a sort of a groan for about a second shortly after the
engine fires. Check the pump's fuse.

Thanks for the info, I'll check that later today.
 
Checked this and it sounds as though its working, also checked all the fuses
and all OK
