A light look at things that shouldn't be

Inspired by George Carlin's old routine "words that don't
go together ("military intelligence" and "jumbo shrimp")
here's a light look at things that shouldn't be.

Chrome fingernail polish. Chrome belongs on cars, not on
women. (What's classy on cars is trashy on ladies.)

Two wheel drive SUVs. There's no sport and no utility
anyway. Take away off road, and there's nothing left.
(Oh, they're for soccer Mom's? Don't they remember mini
    vans?)

Anti-tobacco advertising claiming higher health care
costs for smokers. Its false. (Smokers tend to die
young and quickly. They don't live long enough to need
truly expensive things like hip replacments or ten years
in a nursing home due to senility.)

Plus size thongs. (It speaks for itself.)

PETA. Its nice people care about animals, but perhaps
they should work instead for something like abolition
of the death penalty. Especially for the innocent.
(Those who think "PETA" stands for "People for Eating
Tasty Animals" are not the target here.)

$22,000 "economy" cars. (Honda should be ashamed.)

$19,000 economy cars that sell for $34,000 because the
nameplate says "Mercedes". (Mercedes should really be
    ashamed.)

  3. I could see myself in a crossover vehicle, but NOT a minivan.

Unless I'm on vacation... they gave me a minivan once when I reserved
a compact car and I decided the minivan was great if you were hauling
    around family.
    Statistics, please.
We have enough bleeding hearts doing that.
Honda should be ashamed in general.

Either Ford is getting better or Honda is getting worse.
