The car runs okay when it's been sitting all night but after short time it goes downhill fast. First I only have 1st and 3rd gear and not to long after that only 1st gear. Then only reverse. Then nothing at all, it just revs in gear but wont move the car. I have taken the shift solenoid off and cleaned it out with brake cleaner and changed the fluid with honda fluid and neither one had any effect on this problem. I dont know what could be the cause of this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I was looking for a inline transmission fluid filter but didnt see one. Is there one on a 5th gen base model automatic prelude?
