98 CRV help

Discussion in 'CR-V' started by Muthucumaru Maheswaran, Jul 20, 2003.

  1. Hello,

I have a 98 CRV with 54K Kms and with 1 month left in
the warranty. Recently, I have started hearing a skidding
kind of noise from the front side when I make hard left
turns. No noise on right turns. I thought it might the
tires because they are not new. Could it be more than
    that? Like.. steering mechanism, ...

Even when I make slow left turns I think there is some
    noise - I can't say for sure.

    Any inputs?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. What happened when you rotated the tires to see if the noise moves with
    the tires?

  3. 'Mahes',

Replace your 'Dual Pump Fluid' in the rear end. Ignore the manual's
interval... it's too long for the first change. Your tires MUST be
rotated regularly or the rear differential will suffer excessive wear
too. Include the spare in the rotation for more tire life.

Regarding stage performances: When everyone else has finished playing,
you should not play any notes you have left over. -
