97 Civic CD changer install

I picked up cheap a honda factory cd changer (P/N 08a06-141-420) for my 97
Civic Sedan. The unit came with mounting brackets (though I am not sure for
what car) but no instructions. I am trying to figure out if there is a
dedicated space for this unit. I was looking in the trunk and I just do not
see the right place, at least not with the brackets included. Any
suggestions or pointers? Should I just ignore the way it was meant to be
installed and just custom mount it? Anyone has a factory changer installed
and can tell me what the brackets SHOULD look like and where they go?

I couldn't find the instructions for the sedan, but here's the doc for the
2-door version. Maybe it's the same, or close to it?
