    hi

I have a 93 Civic 2dr dx, and it has electric/manual door lock (the electric is tied in with the alarm). I went for a long time with the alarm disabled and doing manual lock/unlock. Recently I switched back to the alarm, and the other day the lock froze (on the driver side). Since then, the driver side became unlocked, but I can't lock it anymore (manually or thru the alarm). Anyone have this problem, or know how to fix it?

    thanks

Is it under warranty? If so, take it in.

Is this the factory power door locks, or some type of after-market
    system?

Sounds like the alarm electrically actuated mechanism that moves the
lock/unlock mechanical lever is broken. If that's the case, you will have
to fix the alarm or disengage the alarm from your mechanical linkage and
operate your locks the same way before you got your alarm installed.

I reckon that your car did not come with power door lock from the factory.
