My check PGM-FI light came on. Does my car have a computer module
that displays or flashes a code that I can use to decipher my problem?
If so, where is it located?

    TIA,
    Jim

Most likely under the passenger seat. Look there for a row of LEDs,
some of which may be lit.

One other thing, some LED may have an access cover, open it. Access from the
    rear of the seat.

Ask your question on the 3geez web site, dedicated to 3rd generation
Accords like yours. They are very knowledgable about the programmed fuel
    injectors.

Thanks, I found a small black box under the passenger seat and it is
covered. I'll take a peek at it early next week when I have some
    time.

  6. The black box isn't it. What you're looking for is under the driver's seat. I
failed to notice it earlier. The color of the PGM-FI ECU box is similar to
the color of the interior scheme. E.g. brown dash = brown ECU box. Note: the
small black box is the fan timer.

OK, I found the box under the drivers seat, pulled down a small hatch
and with the engine running and the PGM-FI light still on counted 12
blinks from the LED. I went to the http://www.3geez.com website and
poked around until I found a post describing ECU codes. I'm guessing
    this is my problem?

defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

Where is the sensor located on my car and how should I proceed from
here. My mission is to make the light stay off for this particular
fault so that it passes emissions inspection. The light has been on
and off for the last 80,000 miles. Car runs great.

You have a plugged CVC chamber inside the black control box mounted to the
    firewall.
