Need help in resolving Power Steering System (EPS) problem on my 2014 Honda Accord 3.5L V6 touring w/ 130,000 miles. Couple of days back, all of a sudden the Power Steering System (EPS) stopped working with dash message below. There were no noise, vibrations, rattling, anything that we can call out of normal before this.
My mechanic is saying that I need a new 'Rack & Pinion Assembly' however I believe it must be a bad EPS control module, Part # 39980-T2G-A9
My LAUNCH 129X scanner shows DTC code P0A15, but that doesn't appear to be relevant to EPS.
My my main concern at this time is to make the car drivable again. Will appreciate any feedback how to diagnose and fix power steering.
