2014 CRV LX Auto Dimming Mirror Retrofit

    Recently purchased a 2014 CRV LX. The rear view mirror currently is a “plain jane” mirror without any other capability. I am seeking to replace the current mirror with one that has the auto dimming feature. Honda sells an Automatic Dimming Rear View Mirror 08V03-T0A-100A CR-V 2012-2016 and a Honda Automatic Dimming Mirror Attachment 08V03-TOA-100 that states:“This attachment is required to install the auto day/night mirror (08V03-T0A-100A) in the CR-V.”
    Has anyone installed or heard of these parts retrofitting a CRV LX to add the auto dimming feature?
