My wife complains about the loud beep when she locks the car by
clicking the lock button twice on they car key. Can I lower the volume
    of the beep? Disable it?

Can't find anything in the manual :(

    Thank You!!!

    That's the horn...

If she doesn't like it, click only once...

    M.M.,
She likes the confirmation sound, it's just to loud.
Any way to make it quieter?

  4. I think it's made loud on purpose to give you extra assurance that the
car is locked, if say you go around the corner before you lock it.
That's why it takes two clicks. Do the lights give sufficient visual
    feedback on a single click?

Punch her in the face. The lock is not the problem, she is the
    problem.

Tell her to just push the button *once*. The doors lock and no sound
at all. Either check the headlight flash or watch the door lock knobs
pop down for confirmation. At least that's the way mine works...

Surely the beep can be lived with?

its not up there with 9/11 is it after all - pressing once does not initiate
    the deadlocks
