2006 Civic Coupe Question

  1. First, I *love* this car! I haven't made so many heads turn since I
    was in my 20's. ;)

I have a burning question, though, that no one seems to be able to
answer. Thought you guys might have a clue. I have the LX model, and
to the left of the hazard lights button is what looks like a three-
slash vent, but nothing comes out of it.

It's illustrated in the manual, but nothing is written about it. I
asked my sales guys and he didn't know, but said he would consult the
service manual. I haven't heard back. It's *really* starting to bug
me now. He thought it might be related to the SVC (speed sensitive
radio feature, which is pretty cool), but covering it up doesn't seem
    to affect that operation.

    Guesses?

to the left of the hazard lights button is what looks like a three-
From memory it's where the temp sensor for cabin temp is located if you
have an HVAC system where you can set cabin temp in degrees rather than
    'amounts' of hot or cold.

  3. Not available in any of the trim levels. Could it be part of the air
    filtration system?
