I was looking for the oil filters on those 2 cars yesterday but couldn't
find them. Are they visible without jacking the cars up? Thanks.

  2. Many dealerships have one big pile of oil filters behind the counter.
Most Hondas use the same filter.

The 05 HAH filter is just behind the front passenger wheel. It might be
visible if you turn the wheels to the right.

    This might help a bit

    http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/prddisplay.jsp?inputstate=5&catcgry1=Accord&catcgry2=2005&catcgry3=4DR+HYBRID&catcgry4=KA5AT&catcgry5=OIL+PUMP

Note especially the shape of the base.

Backtrack from this site for the Od filter.

Always helps to have the new part (in this case, the filter)
in hand when trying to find the old one on the car.

15400-PLM-A02. That one's on about 90-95% of all Hondas. It's a pretty blue
    color.

Your Owner's Manuals give the locations and change procedures for both
    cars.

If you have mislaid your Owner's Manuals, you may obtain new ones from
    Honda, here:
    https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/logon.asp
You do not need to login to get the Manuals.

For your '06 Odyssey, see pages 335-336.
For the '05 Accord Hybrid, see pages 203-204.

It appears the Hybrid must be jacked up to access the filter.

I looked in the manual of course but with the car on the ground I could not
see either filter. Was just looking for the best angle to look from or
whether it was even possible to see them without jacking them up.

Had the oil/filter changed by the dealer and oil did not look ultra clean to
me after I checked it when I got home. Was wondering if they "forgot" the
filters. This would have been first oil/filter change so filters would have
been factory installed if they hadn't been changed.
