My 2004 CRV has a lot of road noise. I was told that there are plugs
that are supposed to be installed in the underside of the vehicle as
part of the dealer prep that never get installed. Because of this there
is a lot of road noise.

Has anyone actually installed this and seen a difference? My dealer has
no idea about these plugs or is just playing stupid so they do not have
to install for free what they should have installed in the first place
as part of the dealer prep.

    Thanks

I can't speak to the CRV, but I know some of the Hondas (Pilot and MDX)
have plugs that I believe seal up the tie-down points. Not sure if the CRV
has them or not. The way to be sure is to get the PDI checklist for the
    2004 CRV.

If you're talking about the front tie-down hole body plugs, they're
supposed to be installed as part of the PDI. See

A quick glance underneath should tell you if they're installed.

If they have any effect on road noise is very doubtful.
