is there a general range of miles in which....a 2004 accord should need
its front brakes changed....i have 35k.....

had the rear done before...i'm curious to see when I can look forward
    to changing the front

    thanks much!

Usually the fronts go before the rears do.

  3. You must have a V6 model with the traction control "feature." Before
there was traction control, front brakes would always wear out before
the rear. Now many drivers do not turn off the traction control. Those
drivers usually wear out the rear brakes before the front. The wear
rate depends on the driver's driving style and the terrain. There is
no universal mileage range in which the brakes wear out, but few drivers
wear out the brakes in the first 20,000 miles. After that one should
check the brakes for wear periodicly, like once every three or four months.

To clear things up. With 2001-2005, Honda alot thinner pads in the
back. This is a know fact.
