Has anyone had any experience with the brake calipers clunking on the first
brake application after changing direction? The dealer says this is normal
for this car. I told them it's bull for a $35K car to make that kind of
    noise.
    Thanks,
    John C.

My 94 Integra GSR makes a short click sound after the dealer serviced the
rears. It may be that they reversed the retaining clips,I haven't had a
change to check them, and no reference pix to know what I'm looking at.

Thanks Jim, but a short click I could live with. This is a VERY noticeable
    clunk.

Same here with a Pilot 2003.

The clunk is loud now. I started to notice it after about a year. There
is noway I could have missed it at the beginning - too loud. I have yet
to get to the dealer for this (and a squeeking driver seat).

See this TSB. The noise is not normal on Pilots:

This makes you wonder how many dealers out there really do not care about
cutomer service. I love the Web.

    Good luck.

No Bull its true, you will find the 04 and the 05 do it as well as the
Odysseys. Its just the play that is in most Honda Brakes.

I had this problem for nearly a year on my 2003 CR-V, no help from dealer.
While in Florida in early February, I took it in for a normal periodic
maintenance and mentioned it-- they said there's a tech bulletin out on
this, and they fixed it free (no more clunks since then).
