Bought my Pilot in July last year and I like it a lot.

Last weekend, while I was checking oil levels etc. the battery status
indicator was clear (kind of yellowish actually) which normally means
Replace! I was planning to bring it to the dealer today but this
morning, the indicator was green again, which means normal.

I intend to keep an eye on it often in the future, but does anyone knows
    what's the symptom means?

What should the voltmeter read? I know the battery is nominal 12 volts.

Take a look at this site.
    http://www.uuhome.de/william.darden/index.htm
Scroll down to FAQs and "How Do I Test a Battery." Also includes info on
those built in "magic eye" hydrometers.

Basic info below - (conditions and temperature correction are shown on the
    webpage):

    LOW MAINTENANCE BATTERY STATE-OF-CHARGE (SoC)

Digital Voltmeter Open Circuit Voltage at Rest 12.65v
    Approximate State-of-Charge at 80°F (26.7°C) 100%
Hydrometer Average Cell Specific Gravity 1.265

It seems to closely match other sites info. ie) www.interstatebatteries.com
    and
    http://www.exide.com/products/trans/na/battery_care/battery_care.html
