Hello fellow Honda and Element enthusiasts!

My name's James , from Little Elm, TX. I've got a 2003 Honda Element that's been my reliable daily driver, but it's throwing a frustrating no-start issue. Originally total silence (no crank, no start, no sound). Now it's progressed to a single "click" when turning the key, but still no crank.

    Here's what I've already tackled:

    • Replaced battery (holds 12.6V, lights/electronics fine)

    • New starter

    • New ignition switch

    • New ignition fuse

    • Tried bypassing ignition switch relay
Progress: From dead quiet to at least a click (likely starter solenoid engaging but not enough juice to turn it over).

Suspected next culprits (based on forum wisdom): bad battery/starter cables, ground straps, starter relay, park/neutral safety switch (auto) or clutch switch (manual), or immobilizer gremlins.

My ask to the collective Element brain trust:

    1. Anyone fix this exact "click but no crank" after battery/starter/ignition work?

    2. Where exactly are the critical ground points to check on a 2003?

    3. Starter relay location and swap procedure?

    4. Common harness/fuse box failure points?

    5. Does the green key light flash during failed starts?
What's different about Elements vs other Hondas? CR-V advice doesn't always translate perfectly.

Happy to share photos, or video of the symptom. I'm a novice but learning a lot.

Not ready to send her to the boneyard over electrical issue!

Vehicle specs: 2003 Element [EX/Auto, and about 170,000 miles on her. it came from Oklahoma and now Texas roads. It wobbled a little while making a gentle right curve on the highway and progressively got worse over time.

Thanks for any guidance, war stories, or "I fixed this exact problem" tales!

the question is: She'll she stay, or should she go? I don't have a lot of money to out into her. It appears that may be the case.

    Respectfully,

    JB
