2003 honda Civic LX

Does any body own a 2003 civic? I have this click each time I put pressure
on the brake paddle. the dealership can't find the problem here where I live
has anybody HAD this problem and was solved?

My daughter's 2003 Civic EX does the same thing.

I noticed that if I ease my foot off the brake, no click.
But if I release the pedal quickly, it clicks.
Experimenting revealed the pedal is just coming up against the stop
mechanism.
Seems that Honda doesn't use much "damping" effect on the pedal.

It never happens to my daughter, because she has a "lighter" foot.
