2003 crv -- 7.5k maint

Hello;

I've got a 2003 crv, at 8k miles I took it to my honda dealer for an oil
filter/oil change/tire rotation.
(I do mainly freeway driving). Following maint schedule for normal usage,
all I needed is a oil change and
tire rotation.

Dealer tried to sell me the 7.5k mile maint at $159, from newgroup
experience, what does a maint service
dones a honda dealer try to see you at 7.5k miles for that price. I thought
that was a bit pricy for
something that is not in the owners manual. Just want to compare.

on another note -- I have the factory roof racks, is there a fairing
available for the factory racks. I installed a Thule cargo box for my
summer trip, but with the sunroof open there is alot of wind noise.
I've already checked places like 'Sportsrack', and they do not carry any
fairings for factory racks.

Oops...what I meant to say is:

I just follow the owners manual on my 01.

I'de tell the dealer that if this thing needs $159 in maintance at 8K you
can have it back, I'll buy something different.
