    You can search for posts based on username, word(s) in the post or just in
    the subject, by date, and only in particular forums. To access the search
    feature, click on the "search" link at the top of most pages. You can search
    any forum that you have permission to search - you will not be allowed to
    search through private forums unless the administrator has given you the
    necessary security rights to do so.


    im not going to the trouble of registering just to find out. nice site, tho.

    There aren't any private forums. You don't need to register to search.

  7. When I tried to search, the site wouldn't allow it, and prompted me to
    register. After filling out the registration page, and after searching for
    awhile (s/n doesn't help, model number doesn't help, the word "scam" has
    some hits...) I found this:

    I don't have a way to correlate the screen names there with the sender
    names here, or the seller ID on ebay.

    I don't even know why I bothered to look this up. I recently got burned on
    ebay so I guess I'm more sensitive to this stuff than I used to be.

    So Elmo, are you going to share the story? 16 hours left...
