2001 Accord EX transmission or car trade?

    Hello all, new to these forums and a novice with Honda cars. I have a 2001 Accord in great condition, well taken care of by previous owner. I bought this so my son had a good reliable first car, but the transmission (apparently notorious issue with this model and year) is quickly going south; looking for a good replacement transmission, or a decent offer to the enthusiast that is willing to buy the car as is. I'm confident that of all the enthusiasts on here among you, there's at least one of you that would be willing to pay a good amount just for the engine alone, happy to see what y'all can offer.
