2000 Civic Si issue

Discussion in 'Civic' started by Chris Mauritz, Nov 15, 2003.

  1. A friend of mine has a 2000 Civic Si. A week ago, someone broke into it
    and stole:

everything from the throttle body to the air filter
    the dashboard instrument cluster

I helped him install a new throttle body and all the related sensors,
intake stack, etc. Fortunately, the theives didn't clip the connectors
on the wiring harness (either in the engine compartment or the
instrument cluster). After installing all the new parts, the car won't
start. There appears to be no spark. I plugged a scan tool in and
don't see any relevant codes. The car turns over and the fuel pump is
energized, but there is no spark. Any suggestions???

    Cheers,

    Chris
