I have a few posts on here, and a couple people have told me to change my
fuel filter to try to correct my problem. I drive a 94 Accord LX. I
    dont
know how to get the filter off. I found it, I am just havin a very hard
time trying to remove it. Any help would be great. thanks in advance

Do you need a manual with step by step directions? Or is it
just one of the bolts on the top giving you trouble?

www.autozone.com 's free repair guides should have a
procedure. The only hangups should be breaking free some of
the bolts. They can be tricky. It's best to have a good
socket set and combination wrench set, so you can maneuver
as easily as possible. Also, to have some experience
applying more torque via little levering tricks.

For my 91 Civic's fuel filter, I take the whole assembly out
and loosen at least one of the bolts on the top using the
ground for support, in a special "Elle" arrangement.

In the long list of items capable of causing trouble, unfortunately
    fuel filters rank very low.

well i dont think misterbeets has messed with this fuel filter then. sorry
bud. it was hard as hell, but i got it. my uncle is a full time mechanic
at a honda dealership, and he has trouble with them. the previous owner
never changed the filter, and i got the car with 140k on it. so it was
pretty stuck on there. but i got it. it was fun, to say the least.
thanks for the help though, elle.

I have an 88 Accord. I tried replacing the under car filter and gave
up. I got gas in my eyes.

yeah so realy not that easy. i know they arent that hard usually... ive
replaced clutches, rebuilt engines, replaced fuel pumps, but that fuel
filter was a little bitch. it was on there pretty good, i think it was
because it was still the factory filter, so it was stuck quite well. but
i eventually got it. the hesitation on the car is pretty much just gone
    now, its good.
