i have some acura gsr wheels, the gsr 5 fat spoke kind and i want to know
before i waste my time jacking up the car, will these fit my 87accord
without rubbing up against something? i really dont feel like putting them
on and then having to take them off due to fit problems. i know a guy who
had 18 inch rims on his accord but he had really low profile tires. i want
to know if the 195-60-15 are low enough profiles. thanks.

The '87 has four studs. I think the Acura uses five. Just off the top
of my head, something ain't gonna work. bob

    The 87 accord would have 185 70 13's which equates to 195 60 14's (which is
exactly what was on the 88-89 accord LXi) So you tire, a 15 inch, would be
    about an inch taller.

actually these wheels from the acura have the same number of holes and the
same 100mm bolt circle diameter, i just wanted to know if anybody ever put
195-60-15 tires on an 86-89 accord. i do know that they are about an inch
taller and wider than my stock tires and i was wondering if it would cause
interference. once upon a time i owned a 87 grand prix and put some chevy
z28 rims on it and had it rub inside the wheel well but i bought spacers
    which fixed the problems.
spacers wont work on my car because i barely have enough of the stud as it
    is.
