I have the car for 5 months and have not had any street errors with the NAV
until today when I stopped in front of my house and it said I was on a
street the runs perpendicular to my street. Although I am 2 houses from the
corner, this is the first time it has erred.

    Any comments would be appreciated.

GPS isn't perfect, at least in the consumer grade. Not trying to hit
a bunker with a missle, you know.

Trees in the way, rain clouds, skyscrapers, all reduce signal or block
some satellites entirely. The number of simultaneously-received
satellites affects accuracy. Maybe your trees in the neighborhood
have, after 5 months, put out some new, fleshy, succulent leaves.

And some errors are just caused by bad government maps and/or the
manner they were compiled into the data base

A machine that can get me to within 100 feet of my destination, even
occasionally taking goofy routes, is **priceless**.

Don't bother taking the car back to the dealer unless, the problem is
repeatable, and you are close enough, for the dealer to go to your house to
    verify the problem.

In the owner's manual, there is information on how to report errors.
