Hi... Got a 03 Accord EX 2-door V6 (two months old). I went out to clean
the inside of my car (Sunday afternoon) and to my surprize, my entire floor
was soaking wet. The back area seems to be the most wet. No I didn't
leave it out in the rain. There is no water around the sunroof, no water
in the trunk. My only guess is that it came in through the floor board
somehow. I was driving on wet road that had a lot of standing water
Thrusday and Friday. My guess is that the water came from under the car.
Going to try to get into a dealer this week. Has anybody else had this
problem? IF so email mail me at
(take the x's out) subj: accord or post a reply
    here.
And like everybody else there is a lot of wind nosie coming for the pass
side/middle of the car. I now wish I never got the sun roof, to much nosie
    coming from it.
Also, for all you 03 accord owners. Did you get the recall notice this
    week?

Sounds like the A/C drain is clogged, and it's running over into the
passenger compartment. Check around the A/C condenser (around the firewall)
and look for a drip hose (where water puddles under your car during A/C
operation if you're sitting in one spot). Sometimes that drain tube gets
clogged up with bugs, dirt, etc. Clean it out and that might solve your
    problem.

Oh, yea, good call. I had a car that I had to crawl under about every month
in the summer and stick a coat hanger up the AC drain to unclog it.

If they don't fix, you can just bring it back 3 times and call it a lemon.

I though of that. We have a lemon law here in Mississippi. However, they
are charging it to my insurance company. "Flood damage" I get it back
today, and it is going to rain again this weekend. We shall see. I talked
to the dealer and asked him what happens next time I drive it and it gets
    flooded inside. no answer.

i would call my attorney general's consumer protection office immediately if
it were me. why should you have to pay more for your insurance premium when
it is cleary a defect in the product. don't take that for an answer.

Won't that now be part of any future title search on the car? I would
fight to the death on that issue!

good point. yes, it would be. reducing your trade in or resale value
drastically. really, you need to call your attorney general's office or
tell the dealer you are going to call to resolve this. you're getting
    screwed.
